Adds freedom of expression just in time for the holidays

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Nov. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Slim Devices, Inc. today introduced four new colorful options to its award-winning Squeezebox network music player just in time to celebrate of the holiday season. These colors are available for a limited time through Slim Devices' web site (www.slimdevices.com). The classic black Squeezebox is also available for the more sober individual.

"Our devices can live in any room in a home. Why limit ourselves to the colors imposed by the computer industry or even the consumer electronics industries," said Patrick Cosson, VP of Sales and Marketing.

The new metallic case colors include a shiny clear coating and were inspired by the mission of Slim Devices—making access to great music ubiquitous. The colors are named:

• Rhapsody in Blue
• Tangerine Dream
• Purple Haze
• Triple Platinum

"As a company, we've always been inspired by great music and the musicians who bring it to us," added Patrick Cosson. "Technology is a small part of the whole experience we called Squeezebox."

Images of the new players are available on Slim Devices web site (www.slimdevices.com). The new players will not be released in distribution and can only be purchased directly from Slim Devices for a limited time or until supplies last. The retail prices of the new designs are $289 for Wireless Squeezebox and $209 for Wired Squeezebox. The players with the new case colors are expected to ship next week but pre-orders are being accepted starting on November 17, 2004.
